Hello Wendy,
Wendy, do you think we could find another location for this that is NOT cal trans? Then I can
calculate that pretty easily.
Best,
Graham

It does make sense. This camera has been in permitting for quite some time. The permitting was via CalTrans,
and at last notice, they had denied installation, so we continue to be without the 51st camera in operation. Being
that no new installation locationhasbeen designated, and I amnot surewhen that will happen, perhapswecan
adjust the current (and past) billing for this camera to reflect as a credit, and then not charge until it is
operational.I think otherwise, it is going tobe difficult to calculate the“free time”we are due.

The contract is actually set up for the first camera to be validated and was a 5 year Co-term merging all the contracts together. . This means once the first camera goes in the ground, the billing starts. What I show currently is we are waiting on the permitting party to send back a thumbs up. @Hailey Spessard can you tell us who that party is? What we usually do in an instance like this is if a camera is taking a long time we can just give you that time for free at the end of the contract. That way you aren’t paying for something you didn’t get to use fully. If that makes sense? Best, Graham On Thu, Sep 26, 2024 at 11:58 AM Hailey Spessard <hailey.spessard@flocksafety.com> wrote:

Unfortunately we were unable to get those requested as-builts for this pole, however, a Flock Technician went out and took the needed measurements of the pole. Those measurements and images have been sent to our permitting vendor to complete theCalTransrequiredstructuralanalysisforthislocation. This should take ~1-2 weeks to complete, then we can get that over to CalTrans so that they can continue their review of this permit request.
